Due to Charlotte’s somewhat tropical climate, it is no surprise that there is a huge wildlife presence in Charlotte. There is an abundance of diverse species roaming the forests and marshes of Charlotte, and it is a great opportunity for people to escape the city life and enjoy mother nature. To get a wonderful experience, residents can visit the recreational centers and parks. Some of the well known parks in charlotte that are immersed with the wildlife environment are the U.S National Whitewater center and Renaissance Park. Renaissance Park is a large 145 acre park that has multiple sports facilities ranging from tennis courts all the way to disc golf courses. The U.S National Whitewater center is actually a whitewater rafting location located in the NorthWest region of Charlotte. It is a popular location for families and friends to go to in order to cool off from the summer heat. It is an outdoor facility that actually offers more than just whitewater rafting. They have Zipline courses, canoeing, kayaking, and rock climbing for those that are looking for something new.
